ICAN Leadership
Becky Jackson BBA – Chief Executive Officer
Becky brings 20 years of leadership experience, including past President of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and, most recently, as the Executive Director for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Becky’s experience in managing staff and committees and her amazing network with local organizations made her the right choice for ICAN as CEO in 2011.
Aaron Harris BA – Director of Operations
“ICAN changes lives through free programs for youth and families. Having worked at ICAN since 2001 I have had the pleasure of witnessing a lot of change in both the youth and families as well as ICAN’s own capacity to provide the services that are needed in the community.”
With over eight years experience in the non-profit setting Aaron oversees and manages the Facilities, HR, IT, and Accounting at ICAN. Aaron is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of youth as evidenced by his many years of continued community involvement.
Shelby Pedersen MPA- Director of Resource Development

Shelby joined the ICAN team in April 2008, and currently oversees organizational communications special events planning, volunteer management, and community relations. Prior to coming on board at ICAN, Shelby worked in the marketing department of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and assisted with community relations and youth developmental outreach at Project C.U.R.E., while she completed her two-year term as an AmeriCorps UCAN Serve Member.
John Hamilton MSW – Director of Programs
“I am honored to be a part of ICAN. The intentional use and holistic integration of evidence-based and research-based programs are designed to promote the healthy growth and development of our youth, families and neighborhoods.”
John is responsible for all programs and services; everything from program research and implementation, partnership development, program delivery, to data collection and evaluation. He possesses a BA and MSW from Ohio State. He has more than 20 years experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters, both locally and nationally. Prior he was an academic counselor at OSU and worked in public welfare for 10 years John has an extensive history of volunteerism and has held a number of community leadership positions.
