On December 2, 2011, ICAN hosted the 8th Annual Festival of Trees at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler. Each year the event brings an evening filled with live entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a dinner to celebrate accomplishments for the organization and the youth and families served. Over 300 community members attended the event in 2011!
“Festival of Trees showcases the amazing progress ICAN has made with youth and families, which is why we continue to participate. We get to see how our contributions in different aspects have made real, positive changes. It’s also a whole night to celebrate and have fun with others who have made ICAN what it is today,” explained Patti Bruno, ICAN’s Board Chair on her continued support for the event.
The Festival of Trees brings in much needed support for the following year’s programs which include evidence-based and research-based youth programs for ages 5-18 to prevent substance abuse. Sponsors for 2011 included:
